Basics
NAME: Olivier d'Athos "Athos" de la Fère AGE: Thirty. NATIONALITY: Orlesian RACE: Human OCCUPATION: Chevalier/Moral mercenary?? idk TITLE/RANK: Chevalier/Nobleman |
HEIGHT: 6"1' BUILD: Not beanpole but he's def skinnier than his skill with a blade would suggest. HAIR: Black EYES: they're stupidly blue SKIN: 'What's the sun?'-pale BEARING: Self-assured, stand-offish, observant |
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES: He has a scar on his lip that has been there from birth but that he won't answer questions about. Naturally his parents came up with better stories. Other than that he only has the sort of scars you'd expect a chevalier to possess. |
Status
[ He's fairly newly arrived rn, but he might not be by the time you read this so: ] He doesn't have a settled location just yet. However, you can still likely find him on the training grounds or in the tavern. Potentially in the library, reading up on whatever strikes his fancy. If you're very lucky you'll spot him in the stables.
Reputation
[ once he's been in game for a bit OR if you apply to the italics, bc i know i'll forget to update this ] He's probably in the tavern a little too often, a somewhat unorthodox chevalier, excellent swordsman, odd assortment of practical and useless theoretical knowledge, gives one chance to nearly anyone, fairly aloof or actually prickly in approach, if you're familiar with Orlesian court politics: his wife killed his brother and he personally had to sentence her to death. Also he is still the current comte of his house, but he's left it supervised under the care of "someone he trusts" for the past five years.
Hooks
He likes fighting for the long-shot as long as your cause is just, which comes with giving everyone at least one chance regardless of background. He's also especially susceptible to revenge tales, or tales of injustice in general. More casually, show him you can quip and verbally spar on his level and you're golden - he enjoys not just intelligence, but intellect sharply wielded.
